The Ration Challenge is about telling refugees we are with them, not against them. During refugee week, June 19th-25th we are challenging you  to eat the same rations as a Syrian refugee for one week and get sponsored to do it. You will experience just one small part of their daily struggle and by raising money and awareness you can make an actionable difference in their lives right now. You will be joining a community of compassionate people who standing up for refugees and telling them that we care!

Why we started the Challenge

"I felt terrible. I was sat in a restaurant, eating a delicious meal. And I knew that Tha, just a few minutes up the road, was going hungry." Read how the Ration Challenge was born in a restaurant on the Burmese border in December 2013.

What is it like

What’s it like living on rations? Together, we're about to find out.  We’ve designed the Ration Challenge experience to reflect as accurately as possible the experience of refugees in Jordan living on rations. For one week we'll only eat and drink what's in the ration ingredient list and rewards we've earned. Learn more and hear from past Ration Challengers.
